We choose to use and offer Aluminum becuase it is easy to cut, light weight and it will not rust. Our current Aluminum DIN Rail offering is limited to lengths up to 3 Feet in 1 Foot Increments and is supplied with slotted holes for easy mounting. Aluminum DIN Rail is a little more expensive than the typical steel DIN but we see it as a worth while expense. At this time we do not offer steel DIN rail.

The Altech DDFL4U is a double level fused terminal block for use with 35mm DIN Rails, The top level of the DDFL4U accepts 5mm x 20mm or 5mm x 25mm fuses for device protection and the bottom level is a separate independent feed through. The use of this double level terminal block greatly reduces space by eliminating the need for separate terminal blocks when two leads per device are required as with DC circuits. Convenient ID Tags are available for device labeling and we also offer this DIN Rail product in custom colors.

The Altech EPDDFL4U is an end plate for use with the Altech DDFL4U double level DIN Rail terminal blocks. The Terminal Block end plate is only required on one end of a series of DDFL4U terminal blocks. The cover plate closes the exposed side of the DIN Rail terminal block protecting against potential hazards. The end plate is simple to use and snaps in place. We also offer this DIN Rail product in custom colors and our standard stocked product is Gray

The the use of this external jumper greatly reduces wiring time when a series of terminal blocks are to be connected with the same device as in the case of power supplies. The CA711 jumper can be cut down for use with less than 10 terminal blocks.
