The NEW Somfy Sonesse 50 ST50 Shade Motor is an ultra-quiet 110VAC motor designed for specific use with roller shades. The Sonesse ST50 motors are engineered with superior noise reduction technology and from a distance of 3 feet, are barely heard. The heavy duty Sonesse 50 motor is designed for tubes as small as 2” in
diameter and does not have any practical limits with respect to it use with roller shades. The Sonesse motors feature built-in Radio Technology Somfy R and also speed regulation for precise alignment of adjacent shades.
The Somfy Sonesse ST50 motor is std configured for use with 2 smooth wall tubes and can be configured for up to 4" Tubes. The Somfy ST50 RTS Motor is controlled via Somfy's RTS RF technology which offers the user single or group control as well as X10, Timer, RS232 Control etc. This is a simple, easy to use and easy to install solution for your shade motorization needs. This motor is powered via 110VAC and has several cord options to allow for receptacle plug or direct wiring.
The Somfy Sonesse 50 motor stores the limits set by the remote controls and memory is not lost when power is disconnected. The momentary press of a button you can command the shade to go to the Full up, Full Down and a customer specified preferred Position. No need to hold the button down and wait for the shade to reach the desired position.

The Somfy 9206088 is a 2" Hard Clip Drive for use with Somfy or Rollease 2" Smooth Wall Tubes and Somfy Sonesse 50 ST50 or LT50 Motors. The use of this drive requires the use of a drive stop. Since the tubes are smooth wall the user is required to drill a hole through the tube and into the drive. A rivet or screws may be used and 4 rivets or screws are rerquired. We prefer to countersink holes in the tube and use screws but some do use rivets and then grind the head of the rivet smooth to the tube.

| Somfy 9420800 Universal Idler w/10mm Collapsible Shaft

The Somfy 9420800 Universal Idler End Cap is used opposite the motor and can be used for a variety of tube sizes. The 9420800 Idler features a spring loaded 10mm shaft that allows for easier installation of the shade assembly within the mounted brackets. This idler can NOT be used by it self it must be used in conjunction with the appropriate drive for the specified tube size being used. We stock this idler for use with the Somfy or Rollease 2" smooth wall tubes which requires the use of the Somfy 9206088 2" Hard clip Drive and we also stock this idler for use with the Rollease 2.5" tube which requires the Rollease RTA6U50 crown and drive kit. As is the case with most heavy duty components the use of this idler with smooth wall tubes does require the end of the tube to be notched and the assembly must be either riveted or screwed in place. The nice thing with the 2.5" rollease tubes is that no modification is necessary to the tube since their tube design features an aggressive internal rib pattern. The Universal idler does come with a retaining clip to hold the drive on the idler assembly.

The Somfy 9410651 Motor Bracket is used to hold the head of the motor. The supplied retaining clip automatically locks the head of the motor in place and prevent the shade assembly from being knock free. The 6410654 motor bracket accepts star head Sonnesse 50, ST50 or LT50 motors. This Somfy bracket is contructed of 0.100" thick steel for heavy duty applications and is rated for total system loads up to 254 lb.

The Somfy 9410635 Idler Bracket is used opposite the motor bracket and allows for free spinning for motorized shade assembly. The nylon ball in the Idler Bracket accepts 10mm shafts and can be used with any Sonnesse 5, ST50 or LT50 motor with compatible Idler. This Somfy ider bracket features a hard nylon bearing that pivots to allow easier installation of the shade assembly and is heavy duty allowing for system loads up to 287 lb.

The Rollease RTA6U50 is a Crown and Drive adpeter kit to be used with Rollease 2.5" tubes and Somfy Sonesse 50 and LT50 Motors. One of the nice features of this kit is the use of a rubberized drive wheel that helps to minimize vibrations caused by the motor rotation. The use of the RTA6U50 also eliminates the need for notching and drilling the tube that would normally be required for use with these motor assemblies. One crown and drive kit is required for each end of the tube (1 Set for the motor and one set for the drive).

The Somfy 9410648 Universal Intermediate Link Bracket Kit is used to link 1 motor multiple shades reducing the number of motors required. This link bracket also reduces the number of brackets required and best of all it reduces the light gap to 0.50" minimum. (Up to 0.75 is typical). The 9410648 comes with 2" hard clip drives installed but these can be removed and replaced with other drives for added compatibility like the Rollease 2.5" RTA6U50 crown and drive kit. As is the case with most heavy duty components the use of this idler with smooth wall tubes does require the end of the tube to be notched and the assembly must be either riveted or screwed in place. The nice thing with the 2.5" rollease tubes is that no modification is necessary to the tube since their tube design features an aggressive internal rib pattern.
