The NEW Somfy Sonesse ST30 Shade Motor is an ultra-quiet 24VDC motor designed for specific use with roller shades. The Sonesse ST30 motors are engineered with superior noise reduction technology and from a distance of 3 feet, are barely heard. The compact, low profile Sonesse 30 motor is designed for tubes as small as 1.5” in
diameter and is easily concealed within headrails, cassette systems or smaller pocket sizes. The Sonesse motors feature built-in Radio Technology Somfy R and also speed regulation for precise alignment of adjacent shades.
The Somfy Sonesse ST30 motor is std configured for use with 1.5” Rollease Tubes and can be adapted up to 2" Rollease Tubes. The Somfy ST30 RTS Motor is controlled via Somfy's RTS RF technology which offers the user single or group control as well as X10, Timer, RS232 Control etc. This is a simple, easy to use and easy to install solution for your shade motorization needs. This motor is powered via 24VDC from a wall plug-in transformer or hard wired power supply.
The Somfy Sonesse ST30 Shade motors can be used to retrofit your existing Chain/Clutch shades provided they use aluminum Rollease tubes. The motors due use the Rollease RB360 brackets so the brackets you are currently using may have to be changed as you may originally have the 1 ½” RB560 brackets typically supplied with 1.5” chain driven roller shades. The Somfy Sonesse ST30 motor stores the limits set by the remote controls and memory is not lost when power is disconnected. The momentary press of a button you can command the shade to go to the Full up, Full Down and a customer specified preferred Position. No need to hold the button down and wait for the shade to reach the desired position.

The Rollease RB360 brackets are designed for use with R3 and R8 Rollease clutches as well as Somfy LT30 Motors. The set includes the end plug bracket which has a notch for the end plug to sit on and a locking mechanism to keep it in place. The motor or drive side bracket has the tab. When mounting the shade you slide the drive side onto the tab and then place the end plug side into the notch and lock in place.
