Larger Somfy LT30 Round Head RTS RF Controlled Roller Shade Motor Image       The NEW Round Head Somfy LT30 RTS Shade Motor is a Radio Frequency based 12VDC motor that is optional powered with batteries and is designed to be used with roller shades. The Somfy LT30 RTS shade motors can be configured for use with 1.5” Rollease tubes or 1.25" Rollease Tubes. This is a simple, easy to use and easy to install solution for your shade motorization needs. This motor can be powered via 12VDC batteries as well as wall plug-in transformer. The LT30 RTS motor is the perfect motor for use where more advanced control is needed of the shades.       Special Features - The newest and Latest version of the Somfy LT30 RTS motor features a round head for a sleeker design that is more easily concealed. The LT30 RTS Motor is Radio Frequency based so you don't have to point the remote at it every time you want to control it. In fact you can control the shades in your living room from your bedroom completely wirelessly. The Somfy LT30 RTS motor stores the limits set by the remote controls and memory is not lost when power is disconnected. With the momentary press of a button you can command the shade to go to the Full up, Full Down and a customer specified preferred Position. No need to hold the button down and wait for the shade to reach the desired position. Each motor can be controlled by more than one remote control. The Somfy LT30 RTS is controlled via Somfy's advanced RF technology which offers the user simple individual or group control as well as a host of automation options like Timers, Sun Sensor, RS232 Control etc.     How is this motor different than the Somfy LT30 IR Motor?         Somfy LT30 IR Round Head Motors are limited to 8 possible IR channels for grouping and or individual control. To control the IR motor you must point the remote at each shade motor sensor every time you want to control it. Since IR devices are line of sight devices you will need to have an IR repeater network installed to take full advantage of the grouping capabilities. The IR Remote Controls feature learnable codes so control of the installation can be easily handed over to an IR based automation system.         Somfy RTS Motors are virtually limitless in their grouping and control capabilities because each RTS radio frequency remote control is unique. More advanced control scenarios can be created completely wirelessly because of the flexibility of the Somfy RTS technology. The RTS motors also have more advanced control options like: Timers, Sun Sensors and Home Automation interfaces that can be controlled via RS232, RS485 and Dry Contact. RTS motors are also Radio Frequency based so you don't have to point a remote directly at the motor to operate it.     Can this motor be retrofitted to existing shades? Yes, this motor can be easily retrofitted to existing shades IF you have a clutch/chain driven roller shade on a 1.25"/1.5” aluminum rollease tube. The motors can be configured for use with either the Rollease RB360 Brackets or Rollease Skyline Shade Brackets. The Somfy Telis 4 RTS remote control communicates with all Somfy RTS RF controllable devices. The Telis 4 is a 5 channel RF remote that can control an unlimited number of shades. Shades or motors can be assigned to one or more channels on the remote. Each channel is individually selectable and you set the channels up the way you want. Each channel can be configured to control one or a group of shades. This is the remote to use if you want to isolate group control. Rollease RB360 Shade Brackets - R3/R8 Clutch or Somfy LT30/ST30 Motors

The Rollease RB360 brackets are designed for use with R3 and R8 Rollease clutches as well as Somfy LT30 and ST30 shade motors. The set includes the end plug bracket which has a V-notch for the REP03/REP53 end plug to sit on and a locking mechanism to keep it in place. The motor or drive side bracket has the tab. Rollease Skyline SLB660 Shade Brackets

The SLB660 is a roller shade bracket from the Skyline collection of Rollease. This single bracket is used for both the Pin End (SLPE53) and Motor or clutch end. Since both brackets are the same, you can mount the brackets and then decide what side to put the shade drive mechanism on and if you change your mind on the drive side you don't have to switch the brackets around.       Somfy LT30 and Sonesse ST Motor to Sklyine adapters are available that enable this bracket to be used with Somfy motors.
