This HDMI Balun / Extender wall plate kit includes both the transmitter and receiver and installs easily using CAT5E or CAT6 network cables. The HDMI Balun wall plate acts like a standard HDMI wall plate to allow the plugging of a high speed HDMI cable to your HDTV. Cat5e or Cat6 cables are run from the wall plate to another wall plate on another side where you can plug in a Blu-Ray player or videogame console, such as a PS3 or XBox 360. The HDMI-EXT-CAT wall plate HDMI extender is perfect for home theater setups where you need to hide messy cables and organize your devices in a closet or media room.
