The Rollease SAPE53 is a Pin-End Spring Assist (PESA) mechanism that is designed to ease the lifting requirements or roller shade. The PESA works with manual or motorized shade systems. The PESA does not require any pre-rotations or any type of set-up, simply install and operate. When the shade rolls down the PESA builds tension so that the shade can be raised more easily. If you have hard to pull clutch/chain driven shades this will help ease the load. This system will also help to improve battery life on Somfy Lt30 battery operated motors.
Selecting the Proper PESA
STANDARD ROLL SHADES (Shade rolls back towards closet to the window)
RIGHT-HAND operation shade, you must select a LEFT PESA.
LEFT-HAND operation shade, you must select a RIGHT PESA .
REVERSE ROLL SHADES (Shade rolls forward furthest from the window)
RIGHT-HAND operation shade, you must select a RIGHT PESA.
LEFT-HAND operation shade, you must select a LEFT PESA .

• PESA-Left Version
• Used with Std Rollease Shade Components
• Used with 1.5" Rollease Tubes
• Uses Rollease Brackets - RB360 or RB560
• Replaces Existing REP53 End Plug in Shade Tube
• Insertion Length - 10"
