Liberty Ultra-Cap THX Certified - This cable is the pinnacle of In-Wall Speaker Cables with THX Speaker Cable Certification ensuring strict performance standards are achieved. The Liberty Ultra-Cap In-Wall CL3 Speaker Cable features truly high strand counts of 174 conductors in the 14AWG and 261 conductors in the 12AWG conductors. The strands are grouped in a 3 bundle twisted rope lay construction. The very high strand count twisted rope lay construction of the Ultra-Cap ThX certified In-Wall CL3 Speaker Cable is used to further reduce the skin effect which results in a high performance speaker cable with very low loss and creates an In-Wall CL3 Speaker cable that is more flexible. The skin effect is a phenomenon that causes current flow in a round conductor to be concentrated more to the surface of the conductor at higher frequencies increasing the apparent resistance of the conductor at high frequencies.     The UltraCap series of In-Wall CL3 Speaker Cable  features yet an even thicker outer jacket than the ExtraFlex providing yet even more mechanical protection. The smooth round outer jacket results an easier In-Wall Speaker cable to pull and the thick insulation ensures that if you do snag the In-Wall Cl3 Speaker Cable it will not rip through the insulation resulting in conductor damage. In-Wall CL3 Speaker Cable  with molded jackets are better than cable with sleeved jackets because they maintain a very tight consistent inner twisting of the conductors which is essential for noise cancellation. When an In-Wall speaker cable with a sleeved jacket jacket is bent during installation the inner twisting of the cable distorts as the cable flattens out and the jacket stretches.
