The primary design features of the Furez Advanced Series In-Wall Speaker Cable are the use of multiple gauge stranding within a rope lay design of high strand count 99.997% OFHC C10100 Copper and the use of quality foamed polyethylene insulation (FPE). The design yields a clean balanced sound.
Furez Products has addressed some of the issues typically found with in-wall speaker cables. The issue of stiffness was addressed by using a softer PVC jacket. The jacket is also thicker than typical jackets to combat damage from pulling wires through walls. The conductor insulation thickness was also increased to alleviate the issue of cutting into the conductor when stripping away the jacket. Additionally, the use of a thicker jacket and insulation also provides long lasting protection from oxidation caused by permeation of atmospheric conditions through the insulating materials.
