The NEW Somfy Sonesse ST30 Shade Motor is an ultra-quiet 24VDC DCT (Dry Contact Colled) motor designed for specific use with roller shades. The Sonesse ST30 motors are engineered with superior noise reduction technology and from a distance of 3 feet, are barely heard. The compact, low profile Sonesse 30 motor is designed for tubes as small as 1.5 in diameter and is the perfect motor for use where more advanced control is needed of the shades. Choose this motor where larger shades need to be lifted and where operation must be at their quietest levels. This shade motor is powered via 24VDC from a wall plug-in transformer or hard wired power supply.
Special Features - The ultra-quiet Somfy Sonesse ST30 motor is std configured for use with 1.5 Rollease Tubes and can be adapted up to 2" Rollease Tubes. The DCT version of the Sonesse 30 is a dry contact wired control motor. Perfect for those installations where automation systems are in place that utilize relays for external equipment control. Additionally, the ST30 DCT motor can be controlled via IR control when wired to an IR controlled relay interface like our AVUA-IRRTS. The Somfy ST30 DCT motor stores the limits set by the limit setting tool and memory is not lost when power is disconnected. With the momentary press of a button you can command the shade to go to the Full up, Full Down and a customer specified preferred Position. No need to hold the button down and wait for the shade to reach the desired position. The Sonesse 30 series shade motors also have adjustable rotation speed so you can closely match the speeds of other shades in the same room.
Can this motor be retrofitted to existing shades? Yes, this motor can be easily retrofitted to existing shades IF you have a clutch/chain driven roller shade on a 1.25"/1.5 aluminum rollease tube. The motors can be configured for use with either the Rollease RB360 Brackets or Rollease Skyline Shade Brackets. Please compare your Brackets to the Rollease Brackets Here and your tube to the Rollease 1.25" Tubes Here and 1.5" Tubes Here. Note: If you are using the skyline brackets you will need the SLAMST30 which is a ST30 to Skyline Adapter plate.

A typical Somfy ST30 motorized shade 30 W x 65 H on a 1.5 tube uses 350ma of current and a shade 86 W x 73 H on a 1.5 tube typically requires 600ma of current. If you connect multiple shades to one transformer they must be wired in parallel. If you do not understand the difference between series and parallel networks than you should not attempt to wire multiple shades to one power supply. Our stated current draws are for use as estimates ONLY and are not specifications. Somfy states the ST30 Motors consume 750ma (0.75A) per motor. Size your power supplies accordingly.

The Rollease RB360 brackets are designed for use with R3 and R8 Rollease clutches as well as Somfy LT30 and ST30 shade motors. The set includes the end plug bracket which has a V-notch for the REP03/REP53 end plug to sit on and a locking mechanism to keep it in place. The motor or drive side bracket has the tab. When mounting the shade you slide the drive side onto the tab and then place the end plug side into the notch and lock in place.

| Rollease Skyline SLB660 Shade Brackets

The SLB660 is a roller shade bracket from the Skyline collection of Rollease. This single bracket is used for both the Pin End (SLPE53) and Motor or clutch end. Since both brackets are the same, you can mount the brackets and then decide what side to put the shade drive mechanism on and if you change your mind on the drive side you don't have to switch the brackets around.
Somfy LT30 and Sonesse ST Motor to Sklyine adapters are available that enable this bracket to be used with Somfy motors. This bracket is also compatible with all Skyline clutches.
