ViaBlue XLS Locking RCA plugs establish constant, firm contact with RCA jacks via a variable pressure build-up system. By twisting the shell to the right, pressure is created on the eight-notched contact grounding ring. This contracts and transfers the built-up pressure to the RCA jacks. XLS RCA plugs are thereby firmly fixed and can no longer be pulled out. By turning the shell to the left, the pressure can be released and the RCA plug can be pulled out.
The genuine gold-plated high-end RCA plug of the VaiBlue XLS-RCA allows a very low resistance connection to RCA jacks and accepts cables upto to 0.35 inch diameter. The double screw system allows the shielding of the cable to either be soldered or solderless (AV Outlet prefers to solder). The center conductor must be soldered.

ViaBlue TS2 banana plugs establish contact to the speaker jacks with a split tube system. When plugging the TS2 banana plug into speaker jacks, a cut-off sinusoidal line shape cylinder creates a steady, constant pressure over the entire gripping surface, which creates optimal surface contact and ensures an extremely firm hold of the banana plug.
The ViaBlue TS Series was designed to provide a connector ideally suited for every possible connection and jack type. All TS connectors protect against short-circuiting with a transparent insulation bushing.
The inner part of the TS plug-in connectors narrows in such a way that the influx of air is cut off. In this way, the stranded conductors are protected from oxidation. The cable can be comfortably tightened by the two large fixing screws and therefore has a very strong grip on the plug. Solder is not necessary.
