- Activity Based Control:
- Just scroll and click with the thumb wheel to choose an Activity such as "Watch Television" or "Watch a DVD" on the Harmony's screen, and the Harmony Remote figures out how to set up the home theater without the need for 'macros'
- Example: Select Watch DVD and The Harmony Remote Will do all the work
- Turn on the TV and Select the Appropriate Channel and Input
- Turn on the DVD Player
- Turn on the AV Receiver and Select the Correct Inputs and Mode
- Now the Harmony Remote will also program the buttons for the appropriate functions automatically.
- Press volume up/down and it controls the AV Reciever
- Press Play/Stop Etc. and it controls the DVD Player
- There are many activities to choose from and you can even create you own.
- Example: You can create a Watch DVD Room 1, Room 2, Etc. and carry the remote to work all of your devices
