X10 MT12A Overview
The XI0 MT12A Mini Timer controls up to 8 X10 Modules automatically or instantly. You can have your outside lights as well as inside lights and appliances go on and off at preset times to give your home a lived-in look while you are away.
You can program your Modules to go on and off at the same time every day or you can set your radio to wake you up "Once" only, for an early morning flight. There is even a '"Security" Mode that automatically varies your programmed time each day so your home doesn't look like it's controlled by a timer.
You can keep the Mini Timer by your bedside and it will wake you up on weekdays. The MT12A has a snooze feature so you can sleep a while longer and you can turn the alarm off on weekends.
You can manually turn off your child's radio or night light from your bedside. You can turn on ALL lights connected to Lamp Modules and Wall Switch Modules with the touch of a button if you hear a suspicious noise at night. You can even turn off everything in the system with one button.
The Mini Timer plugs into any AC outlet in your home and you set it like a digital alarm clock. Channel number 1 also activates an internal buzzer so you can us it as an alarm clock too! You can program up to 8 XI0 Modules from the Mini Timer and you also have instant control of 8 Modules.

The X10 TM751 wireless transceiver module is an integral part of your home control system. The TM751 receives radio frequency commands from X10 RF transmitting controls like the IR543 Hand Held IR/RF Remote or computer based software like the ActiveHome Pro Software with CM15A USB Interface , wireless motion sensors etc. The TM751 then converts the received X10 signal into a powerline command down the household wiring. The TM751 does not respond to X10 signals sent down the house wiring, it only responds to RF X10 signals he use of the TM751 will improve X10 communication by allowing for 2 paths of X10 commandsl: RF and transmission line.
Note: For larger X10 systems, it is recommended that 1 TM751 is used per house-code setting. For example, if you have all your interior lights on House Code A, all your exterior lights on House Code B, and all your wireless cameras on House Code C, you would need 3 TM751 Transceivers.
The X10 TM751 plugs into standard wall outlets and provides a 2 prong receptacle that functions as an appliance module. The appliance module defaults to Unit code "1" and whatever house code you set it to and responds to On/Off commands. The front of the TM751 also features push button switch that controls On and Off of the appliance plugged into it. The antenna on the TM751 rotates 360 degrees and extends to 12" so that maximum range may be achieve with minimal obstruction. The appliance portion of the TM751 is rated for use with 15A resistive loads, 1/3HP motor loads, 500W Incandescent Loads and 400W TV Loads.

The X10 IR543 is a manual plug-in controller for X10 automation modules and switches. The IR543 allows IR commands to be received sent from X10 compatible remote controls like the X10 UR74A . The IR543 then converts those IR commands into powerline commands. This is the only interface from X10 that will convert IR to a powerline signal and is an essential item for those wishing to automate their Home Theater lighting with their advanced IR Remotes.

The X10 UR74A and the X10 Pro PUR09 are Universal 5-in-1 Learning Remote controls for your X10 lights and appliances as well as TV, DVD, VCR Cable Satellite Etc. These remotes can communicate X10 Powerline commands via IR, RF or both at the same time. Reception of X10 IR commands requires the X10 IR543 to convert the IR signal into a powerline command. Reception of X10 RF commands requires a compatible RF Transceiver like the X10 CM15A or TM751 to convert the RF signal into a powerline command.
The X10 UR74A remote can be set to any house code (typically only one house code is used per remote). When you want to control an X10 compatible device simply press the X10 button, then the unit code (1 thru 16) and the appropriate command - On, Off, Bright, Dim, All Lamps On or All Modules Off. It really is that simple.
The X10 Remote also comes with codes for the following types of equipment. The WS12A Control Dimmer Switch responds to "All Lights Off", "All Lights Off", unit On/Off and unit Dim/Brighten commands from any X10 controller or software. Housecodes and unit code settings are located behind the easy to remove rocker switch. The switch can be manually turned On/Off by a quick press of the paddle or by using the slide switch below the rocker paddle. For dimming simply press and hold the rocker switch.
The WS12A can be used in standard stand alone switch applications or 3-Way/4-Way wiring simplifying ordering. When used in 3/4-Way applications the X10 WS14A companion switch is required. The X10 Pro XPFM is an In-Line module for incandescent, Flusrescent, Inductive and small motor loads designed to fits inside a typical lighting fixture or signal gang utility boxes for the control of lights, appliances, fans etc. The XPFM provides Unit On/Off and All Lights On/Off capabilities through the use of separate X10 controllers like the IR543, ActiveHome Pro Software, UR74A remote controls etc.
Important: The XPFM switch requires a Neutral connection. This is not the same as ground. If you are unsure whether or not. Please consult the wiring diagram in the manual below.
